Winter Blast is highlighted by engaging worship & teaching sessions, cabin group discipleship, snow games, ice skating, gym games, hockey, snowboarding, tubing, sledding, Apple Tree snack shop, air hockey,      
ping-pong and the annual “Manly Man Run.”

Summer Missions Trips
In any culture, children are the people group most open to the gospel.  The people who are best at sharing the gospel with children are other children.  For these reasons, Awesome Adventure has offered opportunities for children in 5th and 6th grades (and their parents) since 2003 to participate in short-term mission trips each summer to Honduras and every other summer also to Costa Rica.

We are convinced that mission trips are a wonderful tool for the Lord to use to direct children in His will for their lives, not to mention the meaningful ministry we can have to children and families in Honduras and Costa Rica. Our trips are announced in Oct/Nov of the prior year, at which time potential participants must complete an application packet and an interview with the team leader in order to join the team.

Once the participants have been selected and notified, the training process begins. Awesome Adventure mission trips involve 7-8 months of extensive cross-cultural preparation and training for many ministry opportunities including: Bible stories, personal faith testimonies, puppet shows, skits, songs, games, language activities, and crafts that the team will present in various settings.

Vacation Bible School
Dates: July 30 - August 3, 2012
Time: 6:00-8:45 p.m.

Ages: 4 years old through completed 5^th grade

Children enjoy enthusiastic worship, creative skits, small group Bible teaching, engaging community and global mission projects, nutritious snacks, fun games, and meaningful friendships as they explore having a forever friendship with Jesus Christ and living their lives for him.

Summer Overnight Camps
Although there are many excellent summer Christian camps in the region to choose from, we recommend Camp Orchard Hill and Camp Hebron and Camp Joy El due to the quality of their programs and the relationship we have developed with these two particular camps over the years.
