Register for Fall Women’s Bible Study

Cooks in the Kitchen
In April, our church hosted Life Giving Saturday.  Women’s Ministry used the church’s kitchen to prepare frozen meals to hand out to those in need (whether from the church body, women’s shelters in Harrisburg, and/or to those given by word of mouth from some of you).  Rather than just doing this once a year, Women’s Ministry decided to make this a quarterly event.  We call it Cooks in the Kitchen. 

On Sept. 11, we will be cooking again.  We will make nine frozen meals per recipe, which are:

  • Honey Pork Chops
  • Lemon Glazed Chicken
  • Chili
  • Chicken Corn Soup
  • Brownies

Would you consider making a food item or monetary donation so that we will have the ingredients needed for the recipes?  Go to www.timetosignup.com/womensministry and you’ll see a list.

To drop off food items, bring them on Sundays to Kiosk #4 or contact Cyndi Alioth or Lisa Dunlap, 697-0226 ext. 102 & 103 to arrange another time.

What is a Wisp-her?
On Monday, Sept. 20, 7:00 PM, Rm A202 the Women’s ministry is launching a new mission’s focus. Guest speaker Hellen Nkuraiya will highlight Village of Protection in Kenya and the widows, orphans and rescued girls under her care. Wisp-her, a secret to be disclosed at this event, is an invitation to West Shore Women to partner with Hellen and women in Africa.

Moms-in-Touch
Moms-in-Touch is an international organization that gathers to pray for their children, their schools, their teachers and administrators. If you would like to participate, visit momsintouch.org for a group in your area or contact Heather Ritter at 691.7327.
